Our owner, Jeff Nicholson, has been in real estate for over 10 years, following a successful career in the cell phone and satellite business.
Jeff had been considering a name change and rebrand for a number of years, but hadn’t discovered something that truly resonated, until one day a friend posted about the significance of the number 41 in the Bible. As a Christian this really spoke to him.
During the flood, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights and on day 41 the sun came out.
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years and in year 41 they entered the promised land.
Later, they were taunted by the Philistines for 40 days and on day 41 David brought down Goliath.
Jesus was in the wilderness fasting and being tempted by the devil for 40 days and on day 41 he began his ministry.
There are more examples like this in scripture, but you get the idea. Forty-one represents hope and the dawn of a new day. Jeff wanted to pair this idea with the symbol of the anchor, because Jesus is the anchor of our souls (Hebrews 6:19), and as long as we remain anchored in Him, we have a real hope for the future.
Our goal in adopting this as our name and brand is to offer caring service to our friends, family, and clients who choose to trust us with their real estate needs.
